Local elected officials and Department of Energy officials were on hand at the Pike County Engineer’s Office Tuesday morning to see the MARCS radio that were received by the engineer’s office through a DOE grant. The Pike County Commissioners met with the Pike County Engineer’s Street Superintendent Jerry Wessel. Wessel informed the commissioners that the new radios for the engineer’s office had been installed and were up and working.
The engineer’s office received 40 radios plus 10 handheld models and that includes a base at the engineer’s garage.
