Water Rate Study Report On Pound Board Agenda

At the Pound Village Board’s regular monthly meeting on Monday, June 12, Public Works/Utility Director Scott Fuelle will update the board on the rate case study for the village’s water utility. The board will discuss the 2022 Consumer Confidence Report Certification, and consider CMAR resolution for 2023.

The board is expected to approve numerous annual license renewals for selling and/or serving cigarettes and alcoholic beverages; consider a draft of an ordinance regarding outdoor wood burning heating units; consider Industrial Park land use rules, and consider the procedure for issuing operator licenses.

Permits and licenses to be presented for approval include the annual 2023-2024 Class “A” & “Class A” Retailer’s Licenses for GPM Southeast (R-Store); annual 2023-2024 Class “B” & “Class B” Retailer’s Licenses for PaPa Bear’s and Gilly’s Old Habits, LLC; annual 2023-2024 cigarette license or GPM Southeast (R-Store), and Operator’s licenses for R-Store: H. Soletske, T. Franzen, A. Ambrosius, and R. Reed; PaPa Bear’s:  A. Malecki, K. School, H. Galbraith and M. Flowers, and Gilly’s Old Habits, LLC:  J. Hornick and K. Hoffman.
