The body found in a Sparks apartment on Field Street last week was a homicide victim, according to police.

59-year-old Jose Reyes-Ramirez of Sparks was pronounced dead at the scene on May 27. Authorities say the manner of death was homicide and the cause of death was blunt force injury of head.
