The Russell County High School Tennis teams took on Metcalfe County yesterday with both teams picking up big wins.
On the boys side, the duo of Lucas McFall and Jaxon Popplewell picked up a doubles win, while Carson Buras, Braden Coe, and Ethan Coe each picked up singles wins as the Lakers went 5-0 on the day.
On the girls side, Abby Helm, Jasmine Grant, and Grace Jennette each picked up singles wins, while the duos of Ellie Terry and Breanna Trautman and Anna Kimbrell and Sammie Brown picked up doubles wins for a 5-0 victory for the Lady Lakers.
