As rain-slogged Southern California braces for its next storm, Caltrans offers up to ten-thousand-dollars to drivers whose vehicles have been damaged by potholes on its freeways. A damage claim can be filed directly with the agency by anyone who believes Caltrans caused “monetary loss,” according to dot.ca.gov
