When you stop by a fast food restaurant to order burgers and fries you’re probably only thinking of what you’re hungry for and how quickly the food comes out. Other than that, once you leave the drive-through window, your only other thoughts might be on if they made the order correctly. What you shouldn’t be focused to think about is just how clean the kitchen was or if the restaurant performed well on its last health inspection. After all, there is some level of trust between you and the restaurant. For the majority of greater Phoenix restaurants, that’s not an issue. However, one local fast-food restaurant nearly failed its most recent inspection, as it received a D grade just last week.

It can be a sad day for fans, especially when they roll up to the restaurant, expecting something tasty, only to discover they will never again be able to walk through the front doors (at least under the same ownership). That is exactly what happened late last week as a local restaurant and market here in Tucson closed its doors for the final time, without informing anyone, or even making an announcement on its social media.

Former Minneapolis, Minn. police officer Derek Chauvin was stabbed by another inmate at an Arizona federal prison, according to an Associated Press source. The former police officer convicted of the murder of George Floyd, has been incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tuscon, Ariz. The FCI is a medium-security prison recently plagued with staff shortages and security lapses. In January, the prison was placed on lockdown just months after an attempted shooting inside the facility.
