Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic are playing each other Wednesday night at LoanDepot Stadium in Miami in a "win-and-go-home" situation. Both teams are 2-1, and the winner will advance to 3-1, which will be enough to move on regardless of the result of Venezuela vs. Israel.

Puerto Rico is yet to announce its pitcher, while Johnny Cueto will be on the mound in his new home ballpark for the Dominican Republic.

The Dominican Republic finally lived up to its vaunted expectations Tuesday, defeating Israel 10-0 by mercy after seven innings. Puerto Rico mercied Israel 10-0 after eight innings Monday in its last game.
