LEWISTON, ID - A 49-year-old Lewiston man who was convicted of trafficking nearly two pounds of methamphetamine was sentenced today in Nez Perce County Second District Court. Judge Michelle Evans ordered that Nickolas Jacobson be held for 10 years before he is eligible for parole and he must pay a $25,000 fine. He was found guilty by a jury following a two-day trial in September.

The Clark County Prosecutor has found Olympia police officers were justified in shooting and killing Olympia man Timothy Green last year, the City of Olympia reports.
