Green, 37, was shot and killed by police on Aug. 22, 2022, in an incident at an Olympia Starbucks, according to the Olympia Police Department. Officers were purportedly responding to the scene after Green was accused of consuming alcohol on the premises and damaging a bathroom, the department reported at the time.
