Luck, whether owners want to admit it or not, plays a part in the eventual success or failure of a restaurant. This is especially the case when first starting out. A new restaurant can have excellent food, a prime location, and even quality marketing, but if luck isn’t on its side, the business will not survive. Sadly, that seems to be what has happened with one local restaurant, which officially closed up shop last week. While fans and patrons are holding out hope the business does return, as of today, the Phoenix establishment is no more after less than a year after opening (although it has left the door open for a possible return).
