Chamber Connection: Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce Home and Garden show opens Friday

Posted

The week has finally come — The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) is ecstatic to present its annual Home & Garden Show coming this Friday and Saturday at the Delaware State Fairgrounds-Exhibit Hall. The CDCC staff is so excited to welcome the community to this FREE Home & Garden Expo from 12-6pm Friday, and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday.

After a long winter, the CDCC knows the people in our community are ready to get out of their homes, interact with others, support local businesses, and get the help or inspiration they need to make their home and garden projects a reality. Look no further- this is why the CDCC orchestrates this event for the community. Delawareans of all industries enjoy doing business with people they know. This is why face-to-face interaction is impactful to creating relationships, especially for the backbone of our community – our local businesses of Central Delaware. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet directly with knowledgeable experts covering everything from mortgages, roofing and siding, stonework, to phone service, realtors, contractors, and landscapers.

In addition to seeking home and garden advice from more than 40 vendors, attendees will want to place their day around the multiple free educational live seminars occurring throughout the expo. On Friday from 1-2 p.m., Stone Nation of Milford will be present to teach eager learners the top three items to consider when purchasing a new countertop and how to save money on purchasing cabinets. Following shortly, from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., Homestead Gardens of Smyrna will lead a discussion on what you should do in the garden now to get a great crop later. Lastly, from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m., Dover Federal Credit Union will share vital information about purchasing a first home.

If you happen to miss two of those seminars, you’re in luck because they will return on Saturday as well. Stone Nation will take the floor from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., and then Homestead Gardens again from 2 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The CDCC is very proud to provide an event that allows our amazing businesses to showcase their hard work and services to their community. They need you to stop by and check out what they have to offer so you can see firsthand how they can help you get to the home and garden of your dreams.

Thank you to our sponsors: Bright Side Exteriors, Coastal Bath Company, Delaware State News, G. Fedale Roofing & Siding, Homestead Gardens, Orbit Energy & Power, and Stone Nation Inc. for making this event possible.
