Montana's attorney general is signing on to support legal action against abortion pills.
The Texas case seeks to overturn FDA approval of a commonly used abortion pill and ban shipping it through the mail.
Mississippi's attorney general filed a briefing in support of the lawsuit on Friday.
Since then, 21 other Republican-led states including Montana signed on.
The same day, a group of 22 Democratic-led states also weighed in opposing the lawsuit.
We reached out to the Montana Attorney General's Office for a statement.
A spokesperson told us, “Federal law prohibits distributing abortion-inducing drugs by mail. The Biden administration can’t ignore the law to promote its own pro-abortion agenda.”
