Cheeseheads All in On Justin Fields

Sports apparel chain reports Justin Fields' jersey No. 1 is outselling any other player in the state of Wisconsin, including Aaron Rodgers.

It's a sign of the times when your team's quarterback is going to spend more days sitting by himself in a dark room this offseason than he spent working with his team all last offseason.

Justin Fields' Bears jersey No. 1 is outselling Aaron Rodgers No. 12 in the state of Wisconsin, according to the sports apparel store Lids. This despite the fact Rodgers quarterbacked the Packers to two wins over the Bears again last year.

It seems Rodgers' popularity is waning. Rodgers' status for next year is uncertain as he says he's going to ponder it in a dark room for four days sometime soon.

The state of confusion at quarterback and coach with the Indianapolis Colts seems to have impacted sales, as well, in that state because Fields' No. 1 outsold all players' jerseys in Indiana.

However, Fields does not have one of the top 10 NFL jerseys.

Dak Prescott's jersey is No. 1, Patrick Mahomes' No. 2, George Kittle's 85 No. 3, T.J. Watt's No. 90 No. 4, retired QB Tom Brady's Tampa Bay 12 is No. 5, Lamar Jackson's No. 8 is sixth, DK Metcalf's No. 14 is seventh, Justin Herbert's No. 10 is eighth, Ezekiel Elliott's 21 is ninth and CeeDee Lamb's 88 is 10th says Lids.

At least the Packers do sell more jerseys in the state of Wisconsin still than the Bears.

The Cowboys apparently really are America's team when it comes to jersey sales. They sell the most jerseys in eight states including North Carolina. It has been a while for the Panthers.
