Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes that Harry Kane could finish his career as a one-club man like Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

Kane became Tottenham's all-time leading goalscorer last weekend when he scored his 267th goal for the club.

However, there remains uncertainty regarding his future at Tottenham, with his contract set to expire in 2024.

Despite his phenomenal goalscoring record, Kane, 29, has still yet to win a trophy.

Redknapp, who gave Kane his Tottenham debut in 2011, says that he can't see the striker leaving the club.

Speaking on the Mennie Talks podcast, Redknapp said: ‘I don’t think he’ll move. I can’t see him moving. I think he will end up being a one-club man like Steven Gerrard [at Liverpool].

‘He can walk in to any team, but does he need to? The money he’s on at Spurs is more than he can ever spend, he’s earning a fortune and quite rightly so.

‘I think he’s moving house or building a new house, so his life is probably great. He loves his golf and that’s his hobby now, getting a game of golf in when he can. I can’t see him wanting to move away. I think he’ll stay.

‘He’s the best centre forward in the world, he’s fantastic, can do everything. He works, he’s a leader, he can shoot, he can score, he can head it, he passes it like a midfield player, links play up, he’s big and strong.

‘He can do everything. He is just the complete, all-round player.’

Kane's breakthrough at Tottenham was far from straightforward as he had loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester.

However, he hasn't looked back since getting into the team and is also level with Wayne Rooney on 53 goals at the top of the all-time England goalscoring charts.

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Kane, who will soon face a big decision on his future. Bayern Munich are also interested in Kane.

Kane was the subject of interest from Manchester City in 2021 but a move failed to materialise and it will be intriguing to see what happens with Kane's future this time around.
