2024 awards show schedule: How to watch

Jan. 9 (UPI) -- The Grammy Awards, Academy Awards and other award shows will return in 2024 to honor the best in film, television, music and more.

The schedule includes some 2023 award shows that were delayed to 2024 due to the Hollywood strikes.

The Latin American Music Awards, Webby Awards and Academy of Country Music Awards are coming up next in the awards season.

Here are the details on upcoming shows:

Latin American Music Awards - April 25

The Latin AMAs is a counterpart to the American Music Awards that honors Spanish-speaking artists.

The ninth annual awards show will take place April 25 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and air at 7 p.m. EDT on Univision, UniMás and Galavisión. The show will also stream on ViX.

Thalía, Alejandra Espinoza and Carlos Ponce will host the ceremony, which celebrates the theme "We Speak Música" this year.

Peso Pluma and Feid lead the nominees with 12 nominations each, followed by Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera with 11. Karol G and Shakira both have nine nominations.

Jay Wheeler, Peso Pluma, Farruko, Deorro, Gabito Ballesteros, Justin Quiles and Yng Lvcas will perform.

Webby Awards - May 13

The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences presents the Webbys to recognize excellence on the Internet, including in advertising and media, online film and video, mobile sites and apps, and social media.

The 28th annual ceremony will take place May 13 in New York City, with highlights to be shown on the Webby Awards social media accounts. Winners will be announced April 23.

Actress and comedian Amber Ruffin will host the event for the second time.

Olivia Rodrigo, Baldur's Gate 3, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are among this year's nominees.

Rodrigo's "Vampire" music video is nominated in the Music Video, General Video (Video) category, along with Doja Cat's "Paint the Town Red," Lil Nas X's "J Christ," Megan Thee Stallion's "Cobra" and Victoria Monét's "On My Mama."

Academy of Country Music Awards - May 16

The ACM Awards are presented by the Academy of Country Music to celebrate country music's biggest stars and emerging talent.

The 59th annual ceremony will take place May 16 at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and stream live at 8 p.m. EDT on Prime Video.

Luke Combs leads this year's nominees with eight nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Gettin' Old.

Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen follow with six nominations each, while Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson are all up for five awards.

The nominees for Entertainer of the Year are: Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson.

Daytime Emmy Awards - June 7

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presents the Daytime Emmys to recognize outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts, including daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, culinary and legal/courtroom programs.

The 51st annual ceremony will take place June 7 at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles. The show will air at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS and also be available to stream in Paramount+.

Host, presenters and nominees have yet to be announced.

Tony Awards - June 16

The Tonys are presented by the Broadway League and American Theatre Wing to honor theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway.

The 77th annual awards show will take place June 16 at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The ceremony will air at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS and also stream on Paramount+.

Ariana DeBose, a singer and actress who starred in West Side Story (2021), will host the event for the third consecutive year. DeBose will also serve as a producer and choreograph the show's opening number.

Golden Globe Awards - Jan. 7

The Golden Globe Awards, or Golden Globes, are presented by Dick Clark Productions to recognize excellence in film and television.

The 81st annual ceremony was held Jan. 7 at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., and aired on CBS.

Oppenheimer, Barbie, Succession, Beef and The Bear were among the big winners.

Critics Choice Awards - Jan. 14

The Critics Choice Association presents the Critics Choice Awards to honor the finest in cinematic and television achievement.

The 29th annual awards show took place Jan. 14 at Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles and aired on The CW.

Actress and comedian Chelsea Handler hosted the event for the second consecutive year.

Beef, The Bear, Succession and Oppenheimer were among the big winners.

Primetime Emmy Awards - Jan. 15

The Primetime Emmy Awards, or Primetime Emmys, are presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) to celebrate excellence in American primetime television programming.

The 75th annual ceremony took place Jan. 15 at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and aired on Fox.

The show was originally to take place in September 2023 but was delayed due to the Hollywood writers and actors strikes.

Actor Anthony Anderson hosted the awards show.

The Bear, Beef and Succession were among the big winners.

Grammy Awards - Feb. 4

The Recording Academy presents the Grammys to recognize outstanding achievements in the music industry.

The 67th annual ceremony took place Feb. 4 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Comedian and former Daily Show host Trevor Noah hosted the show for the fourth consecutive year.

Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and SZA were among the big winners.

People's Choice Awards - Feb. 18

The People's Choice Awards is a fan-voted awards show recognizing entertainers in film, television, music and more.

The 49th annual ceremony was held Feb. 18 at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., and aired on NBC, Peacock and E!

Actor Simu Liu hosted the show.

Barbie, Grey's Anatomy and Taylor Swift were among the big winners.

British Academy Film Awards - Feb. 18

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) presents the British Academy Film Awards, or BAFTA Film Awards, to honor the best British and international contributions to film.

The 77th annual ceremony took place Feb. 18 in London.

Oppenheimer and Poor Things were among the big winners.

Screen Actors Guild Awards - Feb. 24

The Screen Actors Guild Awards, or SAG Awards, are presented by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) to honor outstanding performances in film and television.

The 30th annual awards show was held Feb. 24 at Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles and streamed on Netflix.

Idris Elba opened the ceremony, while Jennifer Aniston presented the SAG Life Achievement Award to Barbra Streisand.

Oppenheimer, Killers of the Flower Moon, Succession, The Bear and Beef were among the big winners.

Independent Spirit Awards - Feb. 25

Film Independent presents the Independent Spirit Awards to recognize the best in independent film and television.

The 39th annual ceremony took place Feb. 25 in Santa Monica, Calif., and streamed on the Film Independent and IMDb YouTube channels.

Actress and comedian Aidy Bryant hosted the show.

Everything Everywhere All at Once, Abbott Elementary and The Bear were among the big winners.

Academy Awards - March 10

The Academy Awards, or the Oscars, are presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to honor artistic and technical achievements in filmmaking.

The 96th annual ceremony was held March 10 at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and aried on ABC.

Jimmy Kimmel hosted the show for the fourth time.

Ryan Gosling, Mark Ronson, Slash and other stars performed "I'm Just Ken" from the Barbie movie.

Oppenheimer and Poor Things were the big winners of the night, with Oppenheimer taking home Best Picture.

CMT Music Awards - April 7

The CMT Music Awards are presented by CMT. The fan-voted awards show celebrates favorite country music videos and television performances.

Kelsea Ballerini hosted this year's ceremony April 7 at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The show aired on CBS and is also available to stream on Paramount+.

Lainey Wilson, Brooks and Dunn, and Sammy Hagar performed tributes to late singer Toby Keith.

Jelly Roll was the night's big winner with three awards, including Video of the Year and Male Vide of the Year for "Need a Favor."
