POCO announces MIUI 14 and Android 13 eligibility for POCO smartphones

POCO has now outlined which devices will see MIUI 14, or 'MIUI 14 for POCO' as the company referred to it during this week's POCO X5 series hardware event. Inexplicably, the POCO X5 5G arrived with MIUI 13. However, the POCO X5 Pro 5G beat the Xiaomi 13 series to become the first device to launch globally with Xiaomi's latest smartphone OS.

Unsurprisingly, POCO will update most of its current and former flagship smartphones first before moving on to its mid-range and entry-level offerings. For reference, POCO's MIUI 14 rollout will start with the following devices, in no particular order:

• POCO F3
• POCO F3 GT
• POCO F4
• POCO F4 GT
• POCO X3 Pro
• POCO X3 GT
• POCO X4 GT

Additionally, the company will eventually update over a dozen other smartphones to MIUI 14. Please note that there is no guarantee that the devices listed below will receive Android 13. Instead, the likes of the POCO M2 and the POCO F2 Pro are likely to remain on Android 12, with Xiaomi already honouring its two Android version update commitment. POCO has not confirmed when its MIUI 14 rollout will commence, although it is worth noting that the company has already started issuing Stable Beta builds for the POCO F4 on MIUI's EEA and Global channels.
