Many projected Manchester City's come-from-behind triumph over Tottenham in January to be the ignition of the Citizens' title charge. However, the contest has since proven to be the kick up the backside Antonio Conte's Lilywhites desperately needed.

A team meeting was subsequently held in the wake of their second half collapse at the Etihad, and Spurs have since won all three of their games without conceding a goal.

Victory over City on Sunday depicted their current resurgence, but they have been dealt a significant injury blow. Skipper Hugo Lloris is set to be out of action for between six to eight weeks after picking up a knee injury in Sunday's win.

It's time for back-up goalkeeper Fraser Forster to step up, and here are the games the towering Englishman will start in the Frenchman's absence.

Premier League

With Lloris projected to be out of action for two months, Forster will be expected to start all of Tottenham's Premier League games up until the March international break. Spurs' home game against Everton at the start of April is a potential return date for the skipper.

Forster, who has started just one league game this season, will line up between the sticks for two London derbies later this month as Conte's side play host to West Ham and Chelsea in consecutive weeks.

He'll be involved for tricky away games at Leicester and Wolves before rounding off his stint with, hopefully, more quieter outings against Nottingham Forest and Southampton on home soil.

FA Cup

Forster probably would have started Tottenham's FA Cup fifth round tie at the start of March anyway. The 34-year-old lined up between the sticks for Spurs third and fourth round victories, keeping clean sheets in both.

Should Conte's men prevail at Bramall Lane, Forster will also start their quarter-final clash. Those ties begin on Saturday 18 March.

Champions League

Forster probably thought those magical Champions League nights were behind him. The veteran goalkeeper has made 14 appearances in the competition (all with Celtic), but his last outing arrived way back when in 2013.

He was on the bench throughout Tottenham's topsy-turvy group stage campaign, but he'll be called upon as they take on AC Milan in the round of 16. It's a tie Spurs will fancy winning given the Rossoneri's current woes and Forster will start both legs.

However, Lloris should be back in time for the quarter-finals should Conte's side advance.
