No one injured after fire spreads from building to home at 22nd and Prospect in Kansas City

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No one injured after fire spreads from building to home at 22nd and Prospect in Kansas City

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No one was injured following a fire in the 2200 block of Prospect Avenue. Crews responded to a fire at 2206 Prospect Ave. at around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday evening. When they arrived, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames. A home next to the two-story building that was burning also caught fire. Firefighters made an interior attack on the vacant apartment building and fought the fire from inside. No one was found inside the burning building. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
