Out of the 10-weekend 2023 USFL regular season, Ford Field will be home to the spring football league for five separate weekends, including two doubleheaders.

From mid-April to mid-June, the USFL will play games in Memphis, Birmingham, Canton, Ohio, and downtown Detroit.

The regular season begins with games in Philadelphia at Memphis and New Jersey at Birmingham on April 15.

The USFL Michigan Panthers will play on the field in the background at Ford Field after the news conference announcing the move on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023.

The Panthers, who hired Mike Nolan as head coach last week, open the season on April 16 against the Houston Gamblers in Memphis. That's followed by a game against Ford Field hub-mate Philadelphia on April 23, though that game will be in Canton.
