Missing man’s body found, no foul play suspected, deputies say
LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) - Deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office said no foul play is suspected after the body of a missing man was recovered on Saturday, Feb. 25.
The missing man was Robert ‘Ben’ Wand, 33, according to LSPO.
Deputies said that before the discovery of Wand’s body, the last time anyone had seen or heard from him was on Friday, Feb. 3, when he was walking near Vincent Place Road. A missing person’s report was filed a day later on Saturday, Feb. 4.
When Wand was originally reported missing, deputies said they believed he may have been involved in a crash.
No details were released about what led to the discovery of Wand’s body or how he died.
