At 4:44 p.m. on Mar. 21, 2023, Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 27000 block of Ruisenor in the city of Mission Viejo due to a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies detained a suspect, evacuated the house, and discovered a 22-year-old man who sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as Noah Christian Aguilar from Mission Viejo. Aguilar was pronounced deceased by the Orange County Fire Authority at the scene. The suspect and victim were roommates.
