This comes as a permanent homeless shelter will not go into a former senior center in Saratoga Springs.
It's an issue CBS 6 has been following as the plan got pushback from a nearby school community.

Parents are worried about the shelter being a "low barrier facility," but Mayor Ron Kim says the shelter's policies haven't been determined and he plans to meet with parents.
Shelters of Saratoga had proposed turning the senior center on William Street into a year-round shelter. That plan was withdrawn last week.

The Shelters of Saratoga says in a statement this week. They are still working on a plan to repurpose the senior center property and are finalizing a new agreement for a new location for the proposed code blue shelter.
