An unreleased Xiaomi smartphone has passed through the 3C in China. Reportedly the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition or the Redmi Note 12T Pro, the handset is expected to launch in the spring with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset and 67 W fast charging, among other features.

Last month, a rumour emerged of Xiaomi's plan to reveal a Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition, with the company having already introduced the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. For reference, the latter is now available outside China as the POCO X5 Pro 5G. Subsequently, the device thought to be the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has been spotted on the 3C with its model number, 23049RAD8C.

Based on the image below, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition will offer 67 W fast charging and will ship with Xiaomi's in-house MDY-12-EF power supply. Reportedly, Xiaomi will also equip the handset with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset, features of which leaked in mid-January. Moreover, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition is thought to offer 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage and a 6.67-inch OLED display that operates at 1080p and 120 Hz.

Conversely, WHYLAB asserts that Xiaomi will release 23049RAD8C as the Redmi Note 12T Pro. With the Redmi Note 12 series still awaiting a global release, it remains to be seen when Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 12 Turbo Edition or Redmi Note 12T Pro. Allegedly, the handset could debut in March or April 2023, although we suspect that this will be a China-only launch.
