As the Israeli-Palestinian conflict continues in the region, one film is aiming to shine a light on the issues of identity and belonging. LET IT BE MORNING opens in Pasadena (Landmark Pasadena) on February 10th tied to a national theatrical roll-out in top markets.

Eran Kolirin’s LET IT BE MORNING follows the story of Sami, a Palestinian-born Israeli citizen, who is attending his brother’s wedding in an Arab village when a road is suddenly blocked by Israeli soldiers preventing his return to Jerusalem.

Premiering at the Cannes Film Festival and winning nine of eleven categories at the Ophir Awards (Israel’s Academy Awards), LET IT BE MORNING has earned praise from critics, and recently garnered the attention of the Jerusalem Post as one of the best films of the year.

Alex Bakri stars as Sami in the emotionally charged film that speaks to a state of siege, both internal and external. LET IT BE MORNING features an all-star cast including Juna Suleiman (The Time That Remains), Salim Dau (The Crown) and Ehab Salami (Wajib).

LET IT BE MORNING is a must-see for anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
