Road rage leads to shooting in central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A man is recovering after deputies say he was shot during a road rage incident in Fresno.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called Sunday around 8:15 p.m. after learning that a shooting had taken place near Gettysburg and Palm in central Fresno.

Deputies say two men had been arguing on the road and when they both stopped at a red light, one driver shot at the other.

The sheriff’s office says the shooter has yet to be caught and was seen driving a dark-colored SUV.

According to investigators, the victim was taken to the hospital where they are currently recovering from the shooting.
