Noughts and Crosses and Bly Manor stars go on the run in the first look at Sky's A Town Called Malice.

The romantic action series, coming to Sky in March, is the latest from Bulletproof co-creator Nick Love — well known for his gritty films like The Football Factory, The Firm and The Sweeney.

This new series centers on the Lord crime family attempting to rebuild their empire by cooking up some new schemes in their adopted home of Costa del Sol in Spain.

Gene (Jack Rowan, Noughts and Crosses) and his girlfriend Cindy (The Haunting of Bly Manor's Tahirah Sharif) are the first to flee to Spain, soon to be joined by his off-kilter family for a series of madcap criminal capers to regain their underworld foothold.

The series takes its name from a classic song of the same name by The Jam, though this new trailer is actually soundtracked by Billy Idol's '80s classic 'Rebel Yell'.

The extended Lord family are played by The Good Wife's Martha Plimpton (pulling off a decent EastEnd accent), Snatch TV show star Dougray Scott, Jason Flemyng (Love, Death & Robots), Lex Shrapnel (Minder), Daniel Sharman (Fear the Walking Dead) and Eliza Butterworth (The Last Kingdom).

When the series was first announced, Nick Love teased: "What an amazing cast. I am so lucky to finally be working with some of my favourite actors and childhood heroes. I couldn’t be more excited to see how they bring the Lord family to life.”

A Town Called Malice is set to premiere on March 16 on Sky Max and NOW TV. There is no US air date or broadcaster attached at this time.
