2h agoPolice say two neighbors in Wallkill were involved in an attempted hammer attack.
Troopers were called to a residence on Maple Fields Drive in the town around 12 p.m. Sunday.
An investigation revealed 36-year-old Letoya Washington came at two of her neighbors with a hammer, authorities say.
The victims were not struck with the weapon and were able to take it away from her during the altercation.
Washington was arrested and charged with criminal possession and menacing.
She'll face a judge in Town of Wallkill Court next month.
