The City of Paducah has redesigned its website for the first time since 2015.

The website, https://paducahky.gov/, has imagery of Paducah locations with a new layout and a simplified navigation structure.

The new design by Paducah-based Horizon Media Group offers access to several city services, including an online payment option for property taxes, the Paducah 311 service request portal, and a reservation system for Parks and Recreation facilities and activities.

The result is hoped to make it easier for the site's 1300 daily visitors to find the information and services they seek. The streamlining effort reduces the site from 430 to 274 pages. It's also more mobile-friendly, since over half of people using the site access it on their phones.

Among the most popular pages are Human Resources, Parks & Recreation Department, Police Department, Solid Waste, Online Services, City Commission Meeting Information, and Elected Officials.

There's also a contact form to receive city news releases in your email.

Mayor George Bray is quoted on the site, saying, "A government website is the community’s landing place where citizens need to be able to quickly find information about services and their elected officials. Paducah’s website is a crucial tool to connect with our citizens, while promoting the community as a whole.”

More updates to pages on the website will continue over the next several weeks. If you notice a broken link or missing information, please contact Communications Manager Pam Spencer at pspencer@paducahky.gov or 270-444-8669.
