The Suns announced that guard Devin Booker is “expected to play” on Tuesday night vs. the Nets.

Booker hasn’t played since Christmas Day due to a left groin strain he suffered, only playing four minutes in the game. He missed three games prior to the Dec. 25 game due to groin soreness.

He was expected to only miss four weeks but ended up missing around six. Since then, Booker has missed 21 games and the Suns posted a 10–11 record in his absence. Overall, the Suns sit fifth in the Western Conference with a 29–26 record.

Prior to his injury, Booker averaged 27.1 points in 29 games played, with his season-high coming on Dec. 17 when he scored 58 points. Booker did not earn his fourth consecutive All-Star honor this season, which Suns coach Monty Williams called “a joke.”

The game will be broadcast on TNT starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.
