THREATENING MANNER. RIGHT NOW, STATE LAWMAKERS ARE BEING IN TALLAHASSEE FOR A SPECIAL SESSION TO ADDRESS SEVERAL ISSUES, INCLUDING THE EFFORT TO STRIP THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY OF SPECIAL GOVERNING PRIVILEGES OVER LAND IN AND AROUND THE ORLANDO AREA. THEME PARKS. AFTER RUNNING AFOUL OF THE GOVERNOR. JADE JARVIS IN THE STUDIO WITH WHAT WE CAN EXPECT THIS WEEK. WELL, THIS. FIRST IS THE OVERHAUL OF THE REEDY CREEK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT. SOME OF THE STUFF THAT’S IN THERE, AND I’LL REITERATE THAT I’M DOING, WE NEED TO GET DONE NOW SOONER RATHER THAN LATER. I THINK IT’D BE MORE IMPORTANT TO GET IT DONE IN A SPECIAL SESSION JUST TO HAVE IT OVER WITH SO THAT WE’RE NOT IN LIMBO. DEMOCRATS, HOWEVER, ARE CRITICIZING THE SPECIAL SESSION WITH HOUSE MINORITY LEADER FENTRESS DRISKELL, SAYING IT DOES NOT NOTHING TO ADDRESS THE PRESSING NEEDS OF MOST FLORIDA. IT’S WHAT THEY WANT TO TALK ABOUT OUR KITCHEN TABLE ISSUES. THEY DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IMMIGRATION.
