PD: Suspects allegedly used counterfeit money at Walmart in Sturbridge, Ware

STURBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) – Sturbridge and Ware police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two people that used fake money at a business.

Around 8:50 p.m. Sunday night, the suspect in the orange and black coat is alleged to have used counterfeit bills at the Walmart in Sturbridge.

Ware police shared images of the same person at the Ware Walmart Sunday as well as another suspect that allegedly used counterfeit bills to purchase electronic devices. They were seen leaving in a white SUV.

Ware Police said the suspects, “used thousands of dollars in counterfeit bills to purchase various electronic equipment at several area Walmarts.”
