ORLANDO, Fla. — The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating how a flight to Orlando clipped another jet’s wing.

The collision happened Friday in Newark, New Jersey.
United Airlines said the plane was headed to Orlando and was sitting at a gate when its left wing was struck by another plane.

That plane was empty and being towed to a nearby gate.
This comes weeks after a near-miss at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
