OPPO Find "N3" tipped to launch as a foldable smartphone with a periscope zoom upgrade

OPPO is now said to have a third-gen foldable Android flagship with a potentially significant camera upgrade in the works. The "Find N3" could thus emerge more powerful than many other top-end devices in these terms, and make it one of a very small handful of devices in its category with the same spec. The device could emerge looking a lot like its conventional counterpart, the Find X6 Pro.

OPPO put a lot of thought and its highest-end mobile camera attributes into its latest Find N2 foldable phablet, an up-to-date 50MP main camera, an in-house MariSilicon X NPU and even Hasselblad branding included. However, the device's rumored predecessor may launch with an upgrade to leave its 32MP telephoto shooter in the dust.

Top-end iPhones are projected to join the periscope zoom lens party (however late) in 2023 - as are some foldable devices from different OEMs. The Find 'N3' is now slated to join the Huawei Mate X3 and a third mystery device in making this upgrade on behalf of their form-factors in 2023.

The N3 - which, according to famed tipster Digital Chat Station, even has a convincingly OPPO-like model number ("PHN110") already - is also now said to keep its purported major upgrade in a camera hump similar to that of the X3.

Coincidentally, the Find X6 Pro is also said to have a new, round main camera housing with a periscope lens of its own. Therefore, it is possible that it and its foldable sibling the N3 might share this feature, as with the X5 Pro and N2 before them.
