Police are investigating after a teen was shot in the leg in Pumphrey on Sunday night.
At approximately 8:30PM, officers responded to the area of Zeppelin Avenue and Gibbons Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Police say four people were walking to meet up with another person on Zeppelin Avenue when they saw a black Dodge pickup truck.
The group thought the truck was possibly being driven by the person they were going to meet.
But as they approached the vehicle it drove away.
The vehicle then stopped at an intersection, and the occupant fired one round at the group, striking a 17-year-old male in the leg, police say.
The vehicle then fled the area.
Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
No other injuries were reported.
