Barbara Ann Halfhill, 82, died on Thursday, March 9,2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born November 16,1940 to the late John R. Halfhill and Christina Borrelli Half hill. She attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School and was a 1958 graduate of Parkersburg Catholic High School. In June of 1958 she was hired by St. Joseph’s Hospital in the insurance department. Then in 1961 she was hired by Dr. John Bryce as office manager where she remained for 29 years. Then she worked at St. Francis Xavier Church as religious education coordinator after the death of Dr. Bryce.

Rose Marie Taylor, 77, of Parkersburg, WV passed away on Friday, March 17th, 2023 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born July 1, 1945. She was a daughter to the late Alfred and Clarice (Davis) Britton. Rose loved God, her children, her grandchildren and her extended family deeply. She was a member of the Vienna Church of God until its closing and most recently attended The Refuge Church in Vienna. She enjoyed her puzzle books, flowers, old country music and old hymns.

Edna Mae (Kidder) Lowe, 83, of Belpre, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Saturday March 18th at her home surrounded by her loving family and her beloved doggy, Bojangles. Edna was born on September 4, 1939, in Belpre Ohio and was the daughter of Harry A. Kidder and Daisy Rebecca Nutter. Edna was a 1957 graduate of Belpre High School and was a member of the Porterfield Baptist Church. On December 21, 1956, she married her” best friend and sweetheart”, James H. Lowe together they raised a loving family. Jim passed away on May 21, 2013.

Cynthia Darlene Allman Sands (Boston),65, of Mineral Wells, WV passed away at home on March 18, 2023 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Cindy leaves behind her husband: Lloyd (Buddy) Boston, a daughter: Melissa Napalo (Chris Mirto), two sons: John Boston and Joshua Boston, a brother: Bill Allman (Heidi) and a sister: Carol Frith. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren whom she adored: Trenton, Dalton, Elijah, Jacob, Payton, Haylie, Emmy and Olivia. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews whose birthdays she never forgot.
