Bristol Water & Sewer Department crews repair water main break on South Street

BRISTOL - Bristol Water & Sewer Department crews worked hard to repair a water main break on South Street which left several residents on Hull and Cawley Street without water this past Sunday.

Rob Longo, supervisor of the Water & Sewer Department, said that the shut-off, which occurred around 5 p.m. on Sunday, affected surrounding streets since South Street was a main transmission line. Water was restored by 8:30 p.m.
