A Dallas-based eatery is soon expanding its footprint to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

EatZi’s will be located in Terminal D and will occupy 2,080 square feet of space with construction slated to start in March and end in July, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The estimated construction cost of the new concession venue is $900,000, according to documents. The location is part of a four-gate expansion to Terminal D that cost $130 million and was completed in 2021.

EatZi’s is a European market-style eatery that prepares fresh-from-scratch, on-site chef-crafted meals every day, according to its website. It has six locations in the area, including one in Grapevine that celebrated its 10th anniversary last May. EatZi’s started in 1996 in Dallas. www.eatzis.com
