A robbery took place at a store located in the 3400 block of East Foothill on Sunday evening about 5:09 p.m. which left the store’s employees traumatized, police said.

According to Lieutenant Rudy Lemos, the incident occurred at around 5:09 p.m. and involved four male suspects in their 20s.

Two of the suspects entered the store through the back storage area while the other two waited at the front, ensuring that all customers had left the store, Lemos said.

The employees, a 23-year-old man from Glendale and a 27-year-old man from Los Angeles, were inside at the time of the robbery. Out of fear for their safety, the employees complied with the robbers’ demands.

Although not directly observed, the victims believed that one of the suspects may have had a firearm, but this has not been confirmed.

The suspects were seen leaving the scene in a dark-colored sedan, but no plate number or further description of the vehicle is available. The vehicle was possibly last seen heading east on Foothill Blvd., but this too has not been confirmed.

The robbers made off with several PlayStation systems, although the exact number and value are unknown, as well as $1,000 in cash. There are currently no pictures or video footage of the suspects.

The two male employees were left traumatized by the incident and are receiving support from local authorities.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police.
