One person was shot to death early Monday morning in Northeast Albuquerque. The person was shot around 1:30 a.m., according to police.The Albuquerque Police Department said officers found a man lying in the street on Candelaria just west of I-25. Evidence showed police he was shot from behind.That wounded man crawled into traffic where he was hit by a vehicle. That was when APD officers were called to the scene. The department's homicide unit began its investigation Monday morning. Candelaria Road NE was closed between the Pan American Freeway and just east of High ST NE but has since reopened.
