Two teenagers have been arrested after allegedly crashing a stolen car through a residential home in Vancouver Sunday night.
Clark County Sheriff's Office Deputies arrived at NE 47th Street and 56th Ave around 8:15 p.m. after a traffic collision was reported.
According to calls by neighbors, a car had crashed into a house northeast of the intersection, and the suspects were fleeing on foot.
Police found the car had crashed through the home's kitchen area and started a fire. A five-year-old child in the home was reportedly minorly injured due to the crash.
The Vancouver Fire Department arrived to put out the fire while police chased the suspects on foot.
After a pursuit, the Deputies were able to detain the two suspects in the crash. Their investigation also revealed the car had been stolen.
The suspects were found to be two teens, a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old girl. The 17-year-old girl was taken into the Clark County Juvenile Justice Center on charges of Driving Under the Influence, Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and Intimidating a Public Servant
