Oklahoma House, Senate To Gather For Gov. Stitt's State Of The State


As the 2023 Legislative Session begins, a joint session of the State House and Senate will gather for Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt's State of the State Address.

The address will be the first State of the State Address of Stitt's second term.

Stitt said he is looking forward to highlighting our economy and changes planned for the education system.

"Education is [going to] be a big part of it," Stitt said. "We continue to promote teachers, [and] make sure they have everything they need."

The State of the State address will be at 12:45 p.m. Monday, and will be available to watch on the News 9 and the News On 6 apps. Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell also joins News 9 to give a preview of the events scheduled for Monday.
