Temecula Valley School District Community Updates

March 2023

By Ashley Cunningham - Publisher, Macaroni Kid Temecula-Murrieta-French Valley March 20, 2023

Message from the Superintendent:

"Spring forward" always takes a bit of getting used to, but the extension of daylight has been a welcome treat for many, including our student athletes! We had the pleasure of recognizing the TVHS and CHS Wrestling teams and TVHS Soccer coaches this week! KUDOs to these exceptional athletes and coaches for their accomplishments both on the mat or field and within the classroom!

I am always excited to share spotlights from our schools and departments! This week we celebrate Nicolas Valley Elementary, French Valley Elementary, and Helen Hunt Jackson Elementary, as well as our outstanding Maintenance Division. Please take a few minutes to watch the brief videos and acknowledge these amazing TVUSD schools and staff.

I look forward to seeing many of you at upcoming activities, including our school Open House events and the Student Support Services Resource Fair. The Governing Board is also hosting a workshop on March 22nd, with information below. Please remember that our schools will close for Spring Break on March 25th and re-open April 10th. I wish you all a wonderful break!

CAC Connections Award Nominations

The TVUSD Community Advisory Committee (CAC) will be hosting an awards ceremony to recognize and show appreciation of individuals who have exemplified excellence. We are relying on community members, staff, parents, and students to identify those individuals who deserve to be honored for their efforts. Please take a moment to nominate a deserving student using this link.
