The price of pure luxury has always been expensive. Want a large engagement ring? That could cost you anywhere from $5,000 to $20,000 or more. Want a big fancy house? Be prepared to spend millions of dollars. How about a luxurious car? Some of the nicest ones will cost you at least $100,000 or more. Check out these five prime examples that TrueCar found to be among the best cars over $100,000.

We’re suckers for the 2023 Lexus LC 500. So much so that we gave it the Best Driving Experience Award for 2021. Fortunately, the car hasn’t changed in two years, which means that it’s still plenty of fun in either V8 or hybrid form. Although it’s not as spry as some of the European supercars on this list, the LC 500 excels in providing a comfortable and visceral driving experience. In the current market, the base price for the Lexus LC is $95,600, but it can easily jump up to over $100,000 with a few option boxes checked.

2. 2023 Audi RS 6 Avant

According to TrueCar, “The Audi RS 6 Avant is a high-powered luxury wagon with few equals. It’s easygoing around town and blindingly quick on an open road.” That blindingly quick power comes from a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that sends 591 hp to all four wheels via the brand’s Quattro drivetrain and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

But the best part about the RS 6 Avant is that it can get up to 60 mph in around three seconds while carrying five people and a load of groceries. Trips to the store have never been so fun. We just hope that you have money left over after spending $121,900.

3. 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan

What can we say about the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan that we haven’t said before? Like the Lexus LC 500, we found that the Mercedes-Benz EQS gave us the “Best Driving Experience of the Year.” It was an easy pick among the rest of the competition because of its plush and luxuriously equipped interior, powerful dual-motor system, and surprisingly decent handling. If you can afford the EQS sedan’s $105,550 starting price, it’s definitely worth a look.

The Lucid Air is a newcomer to the electric vehicle category, but it’s also one of the most expensive ones you can buy. It starts at $89,000, but the most popular trim level is the Dream Edition AWD, which starts at $179,000. For that money, you’ll get an all-electric driving experience that’s super luxurious in addition to a long driving range.

The 2023 BMW 7 Series may not be the most exotic car on this list, but we still have to give credit where it’s due. The venerable 7 Series is a large sedan with plenty of luxurious features, an all-wheel drivetrain, and a powerful turbocharged V8 engine. The most popular trim level is the 760i xDrive, which costs $114,595. However, the 7 Series starts at a more affordable price of $94,295.
