Diego Sanchez has a few options laid out following his upcoming BKFC debut.

The first-ever ‘TUF’ winner will be facing off against former boxing champion Austin Trout on Feb. 17. While beating Trout remains Sanchez’s main focus, he has also been thinking about his hit-list of potential opponents after their fight concludes

Sanchez Wants The Diaz Brothers

At this point of the 41 year-old fighter’s career, he wants to fight only the biggest and baddest names, fellow legends like himself. That includes a former foe of Sanchez, Nick Diaz or maybe even his younger brother, Nate (who he has yet to face).

“The way we’re working business right now, it has to be a name,” Sanchez told Middle Easy. “We’re looking to get another legend, another legend fight. That’s why I wanted the Nick Diaz fight or the Nate Diaz fight. I already beat Nick Diaz in the UFC, so it would make for a good rematch. It’s a good storyline. If Nate Diaz was ever there to step up to the plate, I would love to fight him too, but obviously he’s looking to try to make a big money fight with the Jake Paul or a Floyd Mayweather.

He’s trying to just make his money and I respect him on that name. We’re all trying to make our money. That’s the same reason why I want to fight a Nick Diaz because he has a big following and he has the Nick Diaz army. That means that we expand the company, we expand the brand, we expand all of our power by working together. That’s what it’s all about.”

Nate Diaz is currently a free agent and a hot one at that while his brother Nick Diaz is still under UFC contract.

‘Nightmare’ vs. ‘Platinum’

In addition to the Diaz Brothers, Sanchez also has interest in fighting ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry, who has yet to lose in the BKFC ring.

“BKFC with Mike Perry, he’s a big name,” Sanchez continued. “I think he’s probably one of the biggest names in the sport right now. I like that style matchup… That one’s a good fight. I’d be more cautious if I was fighting a fight with Perry than I am fighting with like Austin [Trout]. Like Austin, don’t know what he’s in there for. Mike Perry’s a dog. It’s gonna be a dog and two dogs, we gotta get the numbers right on those wars.”
