BREAKING: Ja Morant's Final Injury Status For Raptors-Grizzlies Game

Ja Morant has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

On Sunday night, the Memphis Grizzlies are hosting the Toronto Raptors in Tennessee.

For the game, they will be without their best player, as Ja Morant has been ruled out due to a wrist injury.

Via Grizzlies PR: "Ja Morant (RT Wrist Soreness) is inactive along with Steven Adams (RT Knee PCL Sprain)."

Morant is in the middle of another tremendous season with averages of 27.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.3 assists per contest in 44 games (he is also shooting 46.5% from the field).

The Grizzlies made the second round of the NBA Playoffs last season, and right now, they are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 32-20 record in 52 games.

They are 4.5 games behind Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets for the first seed (and 2.5 games ahead of the Sacramento Kings, the third seed).

At home, the Grizzlies have been sensational, with a 21-4 record in the 25 games they have hosted in Memphis, Tennessee.

That said, they are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and have gone 3-7 in their last ten games.

Playing without Morant will be challenging, but the Raptors are also one of the worst road teams in the league (9-18 in 27 games played outside of Toronto, Canada).

They are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 24-30 record in 54 games and have gone 4-6 in their last ten games.

Last season, the Raptors lost in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
