Hundreds of teams are racing their toboggans at the annual U.S. National Toboggan Championships at the Camden Snow Bowl in Camden.
The races typically get underway Saturday, with teams of two, three or four teams racing their toboggans down a 400-foot toboggan chute that dates back to the 1930s. But due to the recent cold snap and mild temperatures from early winter. This year's tournament has a different look.
"It's a cold one and all that. It's always a fun event." says racer Bradley Soule.
Now in its 32nd year, these races draw teams from around the country with fun team names like Bucket List, Big Kahunas, and the Throbbin' Boggins.
One racer, Olivia Folsom, is racing to remember others.
"So, the nine (names on her sled) are my closest family members and friends. Then the rest are just people that have loved ones, that have had people that have had cancer."
