Former Philadelphia Phillies Utilityman Signs With Los Angeles Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed former Philadelphia Phillies utilityman Luke Williams on a minor league deal with a non-roster invite to MLB Spring Training. Williams can play every single position on the baseball diamond, aside from pitcher and catcher. and did for the Phillies.
Williams made his MLB debut during the 2021 MLB season for the Phillies where he slashed .245/.315/.316 over 98 at-bats.
He then played for the San Francisco Giants and Miami Marlins last season where he got some additional time at the Big League level.
Williams holds a career .240/.299/.316 slashline. His versatility and athleticism will allow him to find a home somewhere, even if it is just for depth as a "AAAA" player.
This spring he will have the opportunity to impress the reigning National League West champions and perennial contenders in the Dodgers.
