Police identify 19-year-old man who died in Sunday shooting

UPDATE, 10:13 a.m. Feb. 6:

Tucson police say 19-year-old Eduardo Salazar died at the scene of the Sunday shooting in the 4000 block of East Agate Knoll Drive.

Police responded at 2:30 a.m. Three 16-year-old boys were hospitalized with injuries. One of them is in critical condition and the other two are in stable condition.

Those with information should call 911 or 88-CRIME.

The Tucson Police Department (TPD) is investigating a shooting which happened around 3 Sunday morning in the 4000 block of East Agate Knoll Drive, just off of South Alvernon Way between East Valencia and East Los Reales Roads.

According to the TPD, they found a man with obvious gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say three juvenile boys were transported to the hospital, one of them with critical injuries and the other two with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing. Details surrounding this situation are limited.
