BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD)– The Krewe of Oshun welcomed the community to a day full of festivities. The parade displayed talents from all surrounding parishes with vibrant southern music, crafted bands, dance teams and more.
“To see the best of North Baton Rouge has to offer. Really showcasing all the talent and having a good fun time,” Krewe of Oshun President Bryon Washington said.
The community was excited for another great turnout at the third annual Krewe of Oshun Parade and Festival.
One parade participant said he has been a part of the Krewe of Oshun Parade since day one and he expressed how much he loves it.
“The Krewe of Oshun when they first started, we were part of the event then and we expect a larger crowd than usual. We’ve been a part of it and like I say, I love it,” Baton Rouge local Fredrick Sargent said.
