The Pro Bowl has been reconfigured for 2023 and beyond, moving away from an actual football game after struggling to attract the kind of interest the NFL is accustomed to seeing.
The league did not do away with the event, though. The Pro Bowl is now the Pro Bowl Games, beginning during the middle of the week with skills challenges.
The highlight of the weekend is still a football game, but it will be a flag football game. Some might argue that's what the previous version was becoming with its lack of defense.
The flag football game will take place in the same venue as last year and at the same time, but it should be much more intriguing as some of the NFL's best talents take the field together.

What channel is the Pro Bowl on today?

The Pro Bowl will look much different this year, but it remains available to watch on ABC and ESPN. The games will also be simulcasted on Disney XD.
Viewers without cable can stream the Pro Bowl Games on ESPN+ or fuboTV, which offers a free trial.
The new slate of events does mean the broadcaster lineup is changing. Kirk Herbstreit and Pat McAfee will be on the call for the flag football game, while Robert Griffin III, Marcus Spears, and Laura Rutledge will handle the skills competition.
Ryan Clark and Dan Orlovsky joined the broadcast for the skills challenges that took place earlier in the week.

The Pro Bowl flag football game will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, a week before Super Bowl 57. It will start at 12 p.m. local time in Las Vegas.

The format of the Pro Bowl has changed, but the location has not.
Unlike some of the NFL's other marquee events, such as the Super Bowl and Draft, the Pro Bowl festivities tend to stay in one place for several years. The Pro Bowl spent more than three decades in Hawaii before moving to Orlando in 2017.
The event took place in Las Vegas last year and is expected to stay there for the time being.

Dolphins fans were out in full force during Pro Bowl voting, as Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill were the league's leading vote-getters this year. Tagovailoa won't be on the field as he continues to recover from a concussion.
Patrick Mahomes finished third, but you won't see him in Las Vegas either as he gears up for his third Super Bowl appearance. Travis Kelce, who finished fifth in voting, will be by his side as the Chiefs prepare to face the Eagles.
